Mangum 4th Grade Field Trip, Mrs. Clark's class : All of Mangum's 2008 Fourth Grade classes traveled to Arapahoe, NC, to Camp Don Lee on October 30. What a long bus ride! Too bad there aren't any exciting photos of THAT. Anyway, they went to study NC coastal life, and found out about Native Americans and some of the games they played, how settlers made candles and lived, and after lunch (a LOT of fried chicken, green beans, corn, rolls, sheet cake, and tea), Mrs. Clark's class got to dissect a mullet, wear a tarantula named Rosie in their hair, and pet a beautiful corn snake. Five dollars to anyone who spots Mrs. Clark with a tarantula in HER hair!
